Meet the team
Born and raised on a farm in the heart of the Armagnac region, Southwest France, Olivier grew up with two great passions in life – traditional French food and Rugby Union, Since leaving the farm he has excelled in Rugby, filling the mighty ‘Bleu’ international jersey on numerous occasions, and signing for Premiership Giants ‘Gloucester Rugby’, taking him to England from French Championship team, Clermont Auvergne.
‘...Rugby has always been my life, but food and wine is my passion, and always will be, long after the Rugby finishes. I have grown up with fresh seasonal ingredients always readily available at the farm, and from that I have benefitted from the best food, cooked with love and the same passion that I have – it has always been a dream of mine to bring that knowledge of good food to my adopted hometown, and let others sample what I believe to be the best dishes around...Bon Appétit.’
Since retiring from Premiership Rugby, Olivier has moved back to his Native France to Coach Top championship Rugby team, RCT TOULON. However, Olivier is still very hands on at the Restaurant with a daily working relationship with the whole team at Armagnac.
